To clarify our rates for various sizes/configurations of groups effective 7-1-10:
The per couple rate also applies to groups
of singles as long as only one bedroom is occupied per every 2 persons.
Three person groups will be
charged at the couple rate x 1.5.
Three person groups occupying three bedrooms will be charged at the single
rate indicated above.
While the Homestead House can sleep up to 10 persons, a full house is considered 6 persons
or more and the rate is $299 per night.
Five person groups (singles) will revert to the Full House rate of $299
per night
For groups of four couples traveling together, the Ivy Post Office, a separate guest house, is available
for an additional $79 per night.
The above replaces all other flat rates utilized in the past including discounted
flat rates for groups staying 4 nights or more.
Children ages 5 and under stay with parents
free.
Children ages 6-12, $8.00 each child added to parents' rate nightly
Children ages 13-19, $12.00 each child added to parents' rate nightly
Rental Rates are subject to a 4% Modoc County
Occupancy Tax.
A Visa or MasterCard is required
to secure all reservations at Mahogany Ridge.
There are two
deposits required to reserve the Homestead House:
1. There
is a $200 cleaning/damage deposit; $250 if your group is 7 or more persons. This
is returned to you by mail or credited to your credit card after inspection of the house following your departure.
In the event of cancellation, cleaning/damage deposit is fully refundable regardless of date cancelled.
2. A rental deposit of 25% of the reservation total
is due at the time you place your reservations and 25% is due 60 days prior to arrival.
Guests with standing reservations from year to year
must make their first 25% deposit for the following year in January of the New Year.
3. The balance of your reservation total is
due in full 30 days prior to your check in date.
4. Rental deposits are refundable less a $25 processing fee if cancellation is made
with at least 30 days notice. If cancellation is made with 29 days to 15 days before the reservation date,
a cancellation fee of 50% of rental deposit is charged or you may retain credit for the deposits you have
made and reschedule your stay to another non-holiday stay.
The remaining 50% of the rental deposit
will be returned to you by mail or credited to your credit card upon request of the cancellation. If you must cancel
a reservation you have made for Thanksgiving or Christmas and you must do so with 14 days or less notice we will charge
your credit card for the full cost of your reservation however we will apply the total paid for the cancelled holiday to another
non-holiday stay.
Corral Rental is $8.00 per day per horse and includes hay at no additional charge.
