Your wedding decor… You set the style, theme and state your desires for the decor and the
staff at Mahogany Ridges provides the time and labor involved to create your vision. We prepare design
boards and arrange an array of floral, fabric and other samples to give you a visual idea of all the possibilities.
When we meet with you again you will make your choices and any changes you desire. We have a growing inventory
of equipment, props and other supplies which we currently have in stock from which you may choose. This is included
in our wedding fee. We can also purchase any additional equipment, supplies and decor you may require
to achieve the design you envision as an additional cost to our wedding fee. You will be asked to set the
budget for any additional equipment and decor you desire. Any additional items purchased are yours to keep or we will
buy them back from you at the rate of 50% of the purchase price. No two weddings at Mahogany Ridge have ever been
the same. We create especially for you.
Our goal is to lift much of the burden of preparation from
the bride and groom and their families, while at the same time producing a professional result that will set the tone for
the day and bring about the mood and atmosphere that you most desire for an occasion that means so much to you.
Since our staff will be responsible for setting up your decor, this also allows us to schedule setting up for your wedding
around other reservations and/or events taking place at Mahogany Ridge. Our staff includes two professional
florists, an interior designer and consultation services from a certified professional wedding planner.
Mahogany Ridge also creates decor for weddings and receptions taking place at
other locations in and around Modoc County. If you desire a wedding stylist for weddings taking place at another indoor
or outdoor location please consider using our services and let us show you what we can do.
Mahogany Ridge is also proud to recommend the services of Interior Desginer and wedding stylist, Lindsay Christensen
of Lindsay Christensen Design. Lindsay has provided theme creation and design services for many weddings at Mahognay
Ridge. Lindsay also works with us around our schedule of other reservations and events taking place

Your Caterer…We do all we can to accomodate your caterer in preparation of your reception and during the event. For
receptions taking place at The Homestead House your caterer will have access to a residential kitchen. Any weddings
held in Elsie's Garden or on The West Lawn will have access to refrigeration and freezer, limited services
of a residential kitchen and additional outdoor electrical access. Mahogany Ridge is proud to recommend the services
of Jess Valley Dish Catering. Owner Erin Christensen has provided catering services for many events taking place

Your Photographer…
It
is customary for photographers to tour the ranch on a day just prior to the wedding to look at the property
so they may formulate their ideas for their photographs and see where the ceremony will be taking place in relationship to
the positioning of the sunlight and shade, etc. We would be delighted to accommodate your photographer.
Please have your photographer call us so that we may arrange a tour.
Lodging…
If you wish to book the Homestead House for lodging
the night of your wedding and or as the location at which your wedding party may dress the day of your wedding, please let
us know when you book Mahogany Ridge for your wedding or as soon after as is possible. This will help us to determine
well in advance that it is available for you. In some instances the Homestead House is booked a year in
advance and in other instances some of our guests have standing reservations for certain dates year in and year out so please
let us know what you will need as soon as possible.
We charge a
security/damage deposit of $250 which will be refunded within seven (7) days once the Homestead House is thoroughly cleaned
and inventoried following check-out.
Couples reserving Mahognay Ridge may also like to call Mill Creek Lodge Bed and Breakfast, our
neighbors and home of gracious hosts Dixie and Duane McGarva.
While some brides still prefer that their grooms not see them prior to the ceremony, this could rest her mind assured
that he won’t. The groom and his wedding party may be interested in dressing at Mill Creek Lodge
while the bride and her party dress at Mahogany Ridge’s Homestead House or vise verse. You may

Ivy Post Office, another guest room separate from the Homestead House at Mahogany Ridge.
